As a result, we only picked up 2 cm of slush, while the water equivalent was more like 5-6 mm, which could have been all snow if temperatures were a couple degrees colder. Thankfully, that didn't materialize here.. but it did further north and west, with 5-15 cm along the western RRV and 15-20 cm towards Swan River area.

Now we just have the ridiculous cold to contend with the next few days.. record cold possible Monday thru Wednesday. So tired of these cold snaps that are so extreme. Looking forward to that warmer weather by Easter weekend..robhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01577519556216420480noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33386160.post-8861711637708485662014-04-12T23:24:20.278-05:002014-04-12T23:24:20.278-05:00Snowfall reports from today..

Thankfully, looks like we won't be getting those higher amounts.. although anything is too much at this time of year. robhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01577519556216420480noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33386160.post-76122720003775520072014-04-12T10:48:37.558-05:002014-04-12T10:48:37.558-05:00Precip has moved into Winnipeg starting as ice pel...Precip has moved into Winnipeg starting as ice pellets as warmer air aloft pushes in. This may cut down on snowfall amounts if we stay as ice pellets.. although we can certainly transition to snow for awhile as well with webcams and spotter reports indicating moderate snow to our southwest. Tough to forecast how atmosphere will respond with these waves of precip and near freezing thermal profiles..

robhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01577519556216420480noreply@blogger.com
