If the latter is the case we may be looking at that 8-9mm water equivalent the models showing just east of the city.. so the snow and winds may indeed converge. Normally after a snowfall with this kind of wind visibility would already be an issue. Kinda of interesting that snow would be comming from western Ontario. Can't really remember that happening to often.Darylnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33386160.post-61596479367210169202010-01-24T16:55:43.272-06:002010-01-24T16:55:43.272-06:00Daryl.. the area of new snow is on the western edg...Daryl.. the area of new snow is on the western edge of that storm system to our east. Radar and satellite photos indicate this area of snow currently over NW Ontario edging to the west into southern MB. Some light may also blossom throughout southern MB overnight as the colder air deepens. Bulk of the heavier snow will likely stay east of Winnipeg/RRV but we still may see 2 or 3 cm here overnight into Monday morning. As we have been saying, the blizzard conditions are contingent on this area of snow moving in. If it doesn't or is lighter than currently expected, blowing snow won't be much of an issue for us.robhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01577519556216420480noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33386160.post-44554618805758017012010-01-24T16:29:23.499-06:002010-01-24T16:29:23.499-06:00Blizzard warning issued!
