I can't count the number of times it has spent the winter under the snow.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33386160.post-47284321537091691862008-10-22T16:06:00.000-05:002008-10-22T16:06:00.000-05:00Models coming in line showing strong push of much ...Models coming in line showing strong push of much colder air into southern MB by Saturday evening. Strong northwest winds to 70 km/h or higher Saturday night into Sunday will drive coldest air of the season so far into southern MB with highs likely struggling to get much above 2 or 3C Sunday, with windchills in the -5 to -10 range. In addition those cold northwest winds may produce some bands of lake effect snow to the southeast of Lakes Manitoba and Winnipeg Saturday night into Sunday with some shoreline erosion possible on the east shores of the lakes thanks to potential of 35-45 kt gales. Models hinting at brief moderation next Tuesday before another reinforcing shot of cold air moves in for mid week into next weekend. Get the cold weather gear ready!robhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01577519556216420480noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33386160.post-31271624446472547612008-10-21T12:39:00.000-05:002008-10-21T12:39:00.000-05:00Very Windy day out there!!!Wind Gusts at 12:00 noo...Very Windy day out there!!!<BR/>Wind Gusts at 12:00 noon are already at 63 km/h at the Winnipeg airport!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33386160.post-75365396749282463792008-10-20T15:52:00.000-05:002008-10-20T15:52:00.000-05:00I didn't see anything either.. but according to ra...I didn't see anything either.. but according to radar there was a minor "blip" that passed over the airport around that time with some off lake cloud.
