Today's 28.3C record looks like a sure thing.. next stop, the all time October high of 30.5C!robhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01577519556216420480noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33386160.post-44649475778240131262011-10-05T12:11:36.445-05:002011-10-05T12:11:36.445-05:00I for sure think we will surpass the record temper...I for sure think we will surpass the record temperature of 28.3C set back in 1943 as we could possibly hit a high of 30C at most for winnipeg. Add that to the fact around this time last year our actual high temperature for today was 20.5C so we are indeed getting an extended period of warmth this october. Oh and there is a system that could cause trouble on friday with a potential risk for thunderstorms. Ill have more later.Mikenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33386160.post-86583832744230811812011-10-05T11:44:51.158-05:002011-10-05T11:44:51.158-05:00I cannot believe how quickly the temperatures is r...I cannot believe how quickly the temperatures is rising, even at your place Rob. 25C at your place at 11:40 am.

Could you imagine with this setup and then add a more south Westerly direction with the wind which usually allows better mixing of some warmer air!daniel Phttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11987700522165506354noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33386160.post-67613054304225851622011-10-05T07:42:23.584-05:002011-10-05T07:42:23.584-05:00Latest NAM and RUC forecasting a high of 31C for W...Latest NAM and RUC forecasting a high of 31C for Winnipeg today as 925 mb temps rise to 25C. If that indeed verifies, today would be Winnipeg's hottest October day ever (currently 30.5C in 1992) Personally I'm finding it hard to believe we could get that high.. but we'll see. SPC analysis does show bubble of 25-26C air at 925 mb over the RRV of ND with strong southerly flow all day. Winnipeg has hit 30C in October only 3 times since 1872.. Oct 1 1992 (30.5C), Oct 1 1922 (30.0C) and Oct 6 1879 (30.0C)robhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01577519556216420480noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33386160.post-44477911790463111342011-10-05T06:11:17.983-05:002011-10-05T06:11:17.983-05:00A low of only around 17C last night, we already ha...A low of only around 17C last night, we already have a good head start at trying to get that record of 28. 3 C today!daniel Pnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33386160.post-76247401100608539792011-10-04T20:51:48.149-05:002011-10-04T20:51:48.149-05:00According to SHAW 48:
